Poe Tech Web Design & Digital Marketing LLC (“Poe Tech,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use poetechllc.com, why we collect it, and who helps us handle it.
What We Collect
- When you send a message: your name and email, plus anything else you choose to give us, like your phone number, business name and what you need help with.
- When you book a call: your name, email, any notes, the time you pick and your time zone.
- When you build a plan or become a client: your business name, website address, email, the plan you choose, and your answers about your business, goals and service area.
- When you sign and pay: your signature on the services agreement and your billing details. Card numbers go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.
- In your client account: your login and the work, reports and messages in it.
- Automatically: your IP address and basic browser information, which our hosting and spam protection use to keep the site running and block abuse. On our public pages we also record how the site is used, such as the pages you view, where you click and how you scroll, so we can make it easier to use.
How We Use It
- Answer your questions and follow up on your request
- Schedule and hold your call
- Prepare your plan, build your site and deliver the services you buy
- Bill you and keep business records
- Keep the site secure and stop spam
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who Helps Us
A small number of service providers help run the site. They handle your information only to do that job for us.
- Vercel hosts the website
- Neon stores our database
- Resend delivers the messages you send through the contact form
- Google Calendar, Google Meet and Zoom schedule and host calls
- Stripe processes payments
- PostHog measures how visitors use our public pages
- Upstash helps block spam and abuse
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Email From Us
We email you about your request, your call and your account. To stop anything that is not about your account, reply to any email or write to jeremy@poetechllc.com.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide our services, meet our legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- See or correct the information we hold about you
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to or limit how we use it
- Complain to a data protection authority
To use any of these rights, email jeremy@poetechllc.com. Although we operate in Maryland, USA, privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA may apply to us, and we aim to follow the laws that apply to you wherever you are.
Children
The site is meant for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information. No method of sending data over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we post the new version here with a new date.
